Below are answers to common questions about our mobile dog grooming services and what you can expect.
Do I need to be home during my dog’s grooming appointment?
For your first appointment, yes. A responsible adult must be present so we can review your dog’s needs and ensure a safe introduction to our mobile grooming unit. Once you’re an established client, we offer Lock & Key Service for added convenience.
How does mobile dog grooming in Lake Charles, LA work?
We arrive at your home in our fully equipped, climate-controlled grooming unit. Your dog is groomed one-on-one from start to finish and safely returned to your door when complete. You’ll receive a text with your estimated arrival time on appointment day.
What areas do you serve?
We provide mobile dog grooming in Lake Charles, Moss Bluff, Sulphur, Carlyss, Westlake, Iowa, Vinton, Hackberry, and Kinder. If you’re nearby, reach out — we may be able to accommodate you based on our route schedule.
How long does grooming take?
Most appointments take between 1–2 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, behavior, and the service requested. Puppies, heavily matted coats, and double-coated breeds may require additional time.
What if my dog is anxious, elderly, or has special needs?
We specialize in gentle grooming for seniors, anxious dogs, and sensitive pets. Our one-on-one mobile setting helps reduce stress. Please note any medical or behavioral concerns on your intake form so we can prepare properly.
What happens if my dog is matted?
Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. Light tangles may be brushed out, but severe matting often requires shaving to prevent pain or injury. We will assess your dog at the start of the appointment and discuss the safest option with you.
Do you offer nail trims as a standalone service?
At this time, nail trims are offered only during a full grooming or bath appointment.
Do you perform anal gland expression?
Yes. Anal glands can be expressed upon request or if needed during your dog’s bath or full grooming service.
Do you pluck ears?
Ear plucking is available upon request. Not all dogs benefit from it, so we recommend discussing your preference during your consultation.
What happens in bad weather?
Our grooming unit is climate-controlled and can operate in most conditions. However, severe weather such as flooding or unsafe road conditions may require rescheduling for safety.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit or debit cards, and Apple Pay.

Known for her patient and nurturing approach, Ashley excels with senior dogs, anxious pets, and any dog who may need extra time, reassurance, and understanding. She firmly believes that every dog deserves a chance (and sometimes multiple chances) to learn to feel safe and comfortable during grooming.
Ashley’s role within the company cannot be defined by one title alone. She assists with bathing, grooming, handling, and operational support, ensuring each appointment runs smoothly. She is often the smiling face at your door, ready to warmly greet your pet and begin their grooming experience with care and confidence.
